It is a pleasure to be writing an SOG Multi Tool Review right now, because I know our readers have been clamoring for an overview of SOG’s most popular model as of late, and we are happy to report that we’ve got you covered.

The pliers feature stainless steel construction of the handles and the pliers head that has a non-reflective black oxide coating. The v-cutter is sharp enough to easily cut through sheet plastic and various other materials… except for paper. The knife is very sharp as well as the awl (which has been much more useful than I had anticipated). My favorite feature of the tool is the needle-nose pliers. You can really tell a difference with the compounding force due to the unique hinging and gear mechanism. Also the covers over the tool compartments provide a comfortable grip. – Kelly Doyle

The SOG Multi Tool combines a lot of functionality in one product. The star tool of this multi tool is the pliers that do not require you to exert a lot of pressure to get a quality cut and crimp.
